I first became aware of visionary artist Alex Grey in 2001 with the release of the album “Lateralus” by the modern rock band Tool. The CD case was covered in beautiful, psychedelic, detailed drawings of the human anatomy reaching deep into the spiritual realm. Grey’s artwork takes the viewer on a journey through the physical anatomy and transcends time and space.
For this project, I wanted to create a brochure of his work that would give the viewer an overview of his work and a little back-story about his life. The piece exists as a showcase of his work and his commentary on his vision of the world.
